Aylesbury UTC is supported by world class employer partners in the Computing, Construction and Health industries and some of the leading businesses in the region. They are involved in the UTC at all levels, from leadership and governance and help us develop the curriculum and influence what we teach to our students. All partners provide additional resources, visit our leading-edge facilities and equipment enabling our students to study the specialisms.
Having 19 Employer Partners support the UTC with expert teaching offers some of the best opportunities for education, placements, apprenticeships, and employment. Between them, these employ hundreds of people locally. They are some of the region’s largest and most successful companies and will offer industry expertise in the fields of Computing, and Health
As an industry partner, they have the opportunity to engage with students at the UTC who are studying the skills that they need to support their industry sectors. Our partners invest in developing a talent pipeline, both in terms of quality of skills entering the market, and the number of young people inspired to enter the industry.
Our Careers Programme clearly demonstrates the engagements with each year group within the UTC. From raising awareness to providing support in writing their CV’s to bespoke talks about applying for Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships. Many activities rake place each term that enrich our students education with many ready to work skills in addition to their qualifications.
