  • Ethics of AI: Explore the moral dilemmas of AI – are machines making decisions for us?
  • Debate: AI & Mass Unemployment: Join a heated debate on AI’s role in job loss, with certificates for the winning team!
  • Sustainability Project: Get hands-on with innovative ideas to help the planet, and compete for exciting prizes!

Mikhe, Year 13, said:

“I wanted to create a space where students could develop their skills and discover new interests beyond the classroom, fostering a strong sense of community within the UTC. My goal is to encourage students from all specialisms to explore and engage with technology in meaningful ways.”

The Digital Society will start in early October and is open to all year groups, from both Digital and Health & Social Care specialisms.
