Aylesbury UTC Sixth Form Health Diploma

Aylesbury UTC sixth form welcomes applications for the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health from September, 2025. This is a post-16 course for any students who are passionate about a career in health and social care, and want to experience a different type of sixth form education.

The Level 2 diploma in health covers a range of key topics in health and social care and includes optional units, allowing learners to pursue their interests in chosen subject areas. This is a one-year course and would be a great introduction to the other course Aylesbury UTC sixth form teaches: the T-Level in Health.

Alongside the health course, Aylesbury UTC’s students have lessons in Maths and English to increase employability.

Entry requirements to the health course are a grade 3 or above in Maths and English, and at least one other qualification at grade 3 or above. Students who have achieved higher grades in GCSEs will have direct entry to the Health T-Level.

Uniquely, we teach our course in our state-of-the-art healthcare suite, preparing students with the necessary skills and experience of working in real-life.

Moreover, the course provides opportunities for students to connect and gain work experience with world-class employer partners in the health industry. They are some of the leading businesses in the region, including Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, Home Instead, and The Fremantle Trust.

If students are interested, they can visit aylesburyutc.co.uk to apply or get in touch directly.
