We are excited to welcome our very first cohort of Year 9 students in September 2026! This marks a bold step forward in our mission to deliver a different kind of education—one that places employability at its heart.
Our Year 9 programme is designed for students with a passion for healthcare, digital technologies, or film, TV and content creation. It offers a unique opportunity to begin specialising early while still receiving a strong foundation in the core curriculum of English, Maths and Science.
Throughout the year, students will explore all three of our specialist pathways, gaining hands-on experience and insight into each field. At the end of Year 9, they will choose the pathway they wish to pursue into Year 10 and beyond.
This is not just education—it’s preparation for the future. We work closely with leading employer partners such as Cisco, the NHS, and Accenture to ensure our curriculum is aligned with real-world skills and industry expectations.
We may be smaller than other schools in the local Buckinghamshire area, but we are driven by a commitment to academic excellence, personal growth, and career readiness.
We’re inviting all students wanting to join for Aylesbury UTC, Year 9 that have a genuine interest in our Computing, Health and Social Care, or Film, TV & Content Creation specialisms to find out more. If you wish to explore and meet some of our professional employer partners and see our leading-edge facilities. You will be wowed instantly because there is nothing like seeing it for yourselves!
With growing confidence and being treated like an adult, our business-style learning environment is unique and becoming more popular every year. The UTC enables you to dedicate your study for the career of your future.

A UTC is about combining real projects and placements, alongside practical thinking; preparing our students for the world of work with a mixture of experiences, qualifications and transferrable skills. They benefit from, and value, the learning about life gained from their time spent working closely with employers on placements.
“Aylesbury UTC opened up many career pathways along the way. It is like no other school”.
