Thank you for your interest in Aylesbury UTC’s Sixth Form!
Here at Aylesbury UTC we aim to send young professional people for our Sixth Form to be work ready with relevant qualifications focused on their future careers. This vision is central to the two important years in sixth form where students focus on the subjects they enjoy and develop knowledge and understanding of the aspects of life that are important to them.
Aylesbury UTC offer 2 course options. These are in Digital, or Health & Social Care. They are focused qualifications for 16- to 19-year olds. T Levels are equivalent to three A-levels and are also backed by hundreds of British businesses, recognised by Universities, who helped to design the courses.

Besides, Aylesbury UTC aim to deliver an education embedded with Employer Partners making us distinctly different to other schools and colleges. Importantly, still prioritising the fulfilment of each individual’s potential in their qualifications, but also enabling our young people to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, their place in it and how they can contribute to society.
To ensure success we:
Every year we welcome students into our sixth form from other schools and the students very quickly find friends and settle in. We are proud to be an inclusive, exciting and ambitious sixth form that delivers excellent results. We look forward to hearing from you.
We greatly encourage our students to give something back to the school and our wider community during their time in our Sixth Form.
T-levels are new, government-backed, career focused qualifications for 16- to 19-year olds. They’re equivalent to three A-levels and are also backed by hundreds of British businesses, who helped to design the courses.
T-levels are offered by many schools and colleges across England and offer your child an ideal first step into their future career. As of September 2022, there are 16 different T-levels to choose from, with even more being made available from September 2023.
Each two-year course has been designed with employers from multiple sectors and combines classroom study with a 45-day industry placement to prepare your child for the world of work, or further study like a higher level apprenticeship or university.
More information about T-Levels for parents is available HERE.
A UTC is about combining real projects and placements, alongside practical thinking; preparing our students for the world of work with a mixture of experiences, qualifications and transferrable skills. They benefit from, and value, the learning about life gained from their time spent working closely with employers on placements.
