The Big Challenge Winners!
On Wednesday January 29th, Aylesbury UTC competed against teams from 12 Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire schools at Stoke Mandeville Stadium for the prestigious Ultimate Challenge Cup. With more schools joining the Action 4 Youth 2025 event, the competition was fiercer than ever!
The Big Challenge is a series of tests of team work, initiative and problem solving across 13 challenge stations. All of the teams performed with great ingenuity and the room was filled with shouts of encouragement and laughter.

The Big Challenge was launched in 2024 as a celebration of the achievements of young people across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. The event brought together students, teachers and community leaders for a day of friendly competition, awards and insightful discussions and now in year 2, brought even more people together.
“Our team of students came together exceptionally well to pull off a masterclass in teamwork! They excelled in their communication and problem solving, and completely out played the larger schools.
It was a fantastic performance from them, and they should be extremely proud of themselves, I know we all are, and it shows that the Aylesbury UTC is well and truly on the up and should be considered a force to be reckoned with!” Matt, AUTC Teacher
Aylesbury UTC are proud to be this year’s winners of The Big Challenge trophy, and a cheque for £1,000. We will be defending our title next year, and hope to retain glory for the Buckinghamshire schools! To find out more about Action 4 Youth and the event, click here
