Aylesbury UTC is pleased to announce the results of its recent Key Stage 4 and 5 exams. Students demonstrated a strong commitment to their studies, leading to positive outcomes for many. This was the first year students have completed T-levels at the UTC.

Key Stage 4 Results

Academic Progress: A significant number of students achieved grades that allowed them to progress to their desired next steps, including further education and apprenticeships.

Holistic Development: Beyond academic success, our students have gained valuable skills, confidence, and resilience through a variety of experiences, including employer events, trips, and extracurricular activities.

Standout Results

Jasmine Reed achieved: English – 9, English Literature – 8, Combined Science – 77, Maths – 5, Computer science – 6, Information Technology – L2 D* , Creative Media – L2 D*

Cerys Sweeney-Jones achieved: English – 7, English Literature – 6, Combined Science – 55, Maths – 5, Psychology – 5, Health and Social Care – L2 P, Sociology – 3

Jay D Unsworth achieved: English – 6, English Literature – 6, Combined Science – 55, Maths – 5, Computer science – 5, Information Technology – L2 M , Creative Media – L2 P

Key Stage 5 Results

High Achievement Rates: The Year 13 cohort demonstrated exceptional performance, with a significant percentage achieving top grades. 54% of students achieved a grade Merit or above in BTEC level 3 National Extended Certificate in Creative Digital Media Production and 77% of students achieved a Merit/Pass grade in BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Information Technology. In the T-level, 40% of students achieved a Merit grade or above, with 80% achieving a grade C or higher in their core components. 

Standout results: 

Mikhe Kruger achieved D*D*D* and now has a place on a degree level apprenticeship at Airbus.

Tabasum Iqbal achieved D*DD and is taking a gap year.

Alexandra Mardlin achieved D*DM and is doing a Professional Qualification in Screenwriting at Pinewood Studios. 

Umar Chaudhary achieved DDM and is doing a degree in games design at Manchester Metropolitan University. 

Sarah Ali achieved a C in core T-level, Merit in specialism and a Merit overall.  She will be attending Bristol University studying social work. 

Hannah Hussain achieved a B in core T-level, Merit in specialism and a Merit overall.  She will be attending Keele University studying radiography.
