Successful Workshop from Elevate Education – ‘Enhancing Students’ Performance’
On Thursday 24th November, Year 10-12 students were fortunate to receive a workshop from learning educators Elevate, who provided our learners with unique advice and techniques to improve their project management and overall education performance.
The Workshop
The workshop covered a broad range of issues that affects the performance of a young person’s education. Study techniques were explained in great detail, along with demonstrations of memory techniques. Students were asked about their approach to projects and their thought process, be it setting goals, planning work or coping with anxiety or other negative feelings. In addition, many resources and higher-education/employer routes were discussed, with the intention to get learners thinking about their futures and the ways that they can go about achieving their aspirations.
