Students Get Inspired At The UK’s Biggest Skills Show

On Thursday 17th November 2016, Bucks UTC students were delighted to visit the NEC Birmingham to experience the UK’s biggest skills show.

Described as a ‘one-stop-shop for careers information’, The Skills Show allows students to mix with a range of big-name employers in an environment where jobs and skills were brought to life in one of the most interactive and imaginative of settings – one that covers the broadest range of industries within the UK.

Students were not only able to receive careers advice, but they were able to explore hundreds of great apprenticeship, training and education options – allowing them to open their minds to the fantastic choices available for young people.

Students met various employers and spoke about future prospects, whilst gaining essential networking experience. In addition, we are happy to confirm staff were met with enthusiasm by a range of big-name companies and organisations who were eager to learn more about what we do, including the likes of HS2, RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveys) and CIOB (The Chartered Institute of Building).
