At Bucks UTC we provide specialist, employer-led courses for Level 2* and Level 3* entry in Computing and Construction. Our courses provide insight and exposure to the careers available within Computing and Construction. Our world-leading industry sponsors including Taylor Wimpey, Intel and Cisco, help to shape our curriculum and we work with 30+ local companies who help to provide work experience and placement opportunities, along with employer-led projects, site visits and lectures.
Study Computing at Bucks UTC and learn about: Website & App Design, CISCO ESSENTIALS: CISCO CCNA & CCNP, Cyber Security, Digital Graphics, E-Commerce, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Microsoft Technical Associate (and higher) Qualifications, Network Design & Maintenance, Software & Hardware Support, Tech Support, Video-Game Design and much more.
Study Construction at Bucks UTC and learn about: Construction Techniques, Civil Engineering, Hands-on Practical Skills, Health & Safety, Heritage Construction, Materials & Applications, Planning & Design, Project Management, Science in Construction, Sustainability, Technology in Construction, Technical Drawing and much more.
Level 2 and Level 3 Computing & Construction Diplomas
*Level 2, Fundamentals Diploma + Retakes: This diploma is worth the equivalent of up to two GCSEs and teaches you the essentials of your chosen specialism whilst providing you with the chance to fulfil any GCSE English or Mathematics retakes. Entry Requirements: Subject to interview.
*Level 3, Extended Diploma: This diploma is worth the equivalent of up to three A-Levels and provides students with an immersive two years of study complete with employer and community-led projects, placements, work experience, site visits and lectures which typically leads into full-time employment or University studies. Entry Requirements: Five GCSEs at Grade-C or above including Maths and English.
